Maturity Model
RuleArts provides a Maturity Model that illustrates how to incorporate RuleXpress, or another General Rule Book System (GRBS) in an organization. It classifies organizations that use a GRBS in six maturity levels and relates these levels to activities and expertise in different areas.
The following areas are taken into account:
- The scope of the projects that use RuleXpress - starting with a single project and expanding from that
- Guidelines about working with RuleXpress - from organizing workflow to the creation and management of different procedures
- Skills - development of user skills and ways to improve communication between users of the GRBS to share their knowledge
- Connection to IT - from a loose connection, to establishing traceability and later synchronization with an IT implementation
- Responsible Party - starting with one local department and getting more centralized as time progresses
