RuleXpress Technical Information (system requirements):

RuleXpress is a Microsoft .NET application with the following requirements:
• Operating Systems: Windows XP (recommended), Windows 2000, Windows 98 SE.
• Disk space: 75 Mb (RuleXpress Environment: 65 Mb)
• Memory: 40 Mb

The installation program requires administrator rights to perform its operations:
• The default installation of RuleXpress creates at least one ODBC connection to a Microsoft Access database.
• RuleXpress requires the .NET Framework Distributable files. The installation program will install them when necessary.
 
RuleXpress is able to operate on any relational database management system that supports ODBC. The default installation of RuleXpress comes with a standard Microsoft Access database. The database schema of the RuleXpress repository can be used to create a similar repository in Oracle, for example.
